Valeriano Bernal 1991 – Spruce / Cypress

Valeriano Bernal (27/11/1938 – 30/01/2018) was a well-known guitar maker from Algodonales, a small village in the mountains of Cadiz. He founded his first guitar workshop in 1968 in Belgium/Wavre. After a few successful years abroad, he returned to his homeland, Algodonales, where his workshop was founded in 1982 and is now run by his son Rafael Bernal. Many famous professional guitarists like Paco Cepero, Manolo Sanlúcar, Gerardo Núnez, Dani de Morón etc. have played his guitars.

The guitar offered here is from 1991, it is not the top model, it is a „Segunda“, but in terms of sound and finish it is in no way inferior to the „Primera“. It has a very aggressive and crisp tone and is very pleasant to play. It has only very slight signs of use and is in very good condition for its age.
