Ricardo Sanchis Carpio comes from the famous and already over 100 years old luthier family Sanchís. Today, the master works side by side with his sons David y German (Hnos. Sanchis López), who have now taken over the main business, in the workshop in Valencia. He himself builds only this top model R.S.C. 1A .well known professional guitarists like Chicuelo, Rafael Cortes, Pedro Sierra etc. play his instruments, which are very popular in the flamenco scene especially because of a very easy playability.
The guitar offered here comes from a German professional guitarist who retrofitted it with a Fishman Pro Blend system. It has been played a lot and you can hear that. It has normal signs of use and nail marks, but no cracks or major damage. The top is made of a beautiful German spruce and the sides and back are made of a dark high quality Indian rosewood. Ricardo uses only the highest quality woods on this model. It can be played as smooth as butter and sounds powerful and balanced at the same time, just like a very good classical guitar should sound.
